Perfect Boy Part I

What happens when all you get from your life is a pain? What happens when you want to live, but nothing goes right? All of a sudden you feel void; all happiness and love that you once felt has disappeared in an instance. Yet you try to move on. Try to recollect all the shattered pieces of your heart and put them all together, searching for that one reason to keep living. It’s hard, isn’t it?

The Amazing Little Girl is here, once again; this time with a story. A story of pain, sufferings, friendship and love. This story is about that boy, who lost everything but he struggled, fought and survived and finally found that one reason to stay alive. What is that reason, you ask? It’s LOVE! <3

He was the sweetest boy anyone had ever known. Not just by his appearance, he was innocent by his nature too. He was his father’s gem; his mother’s apple of the eye. He was the perfect gentleman. He liked to explore stuffs, go on adventures. He never involved in talks about girls, which his friends quite enjoyed. He believed, nobody really knows someone from a distance. And he was so right. He never misused the freedom which was given to him. He knew his father trusted him, and he never wanted to break his trust. He was perfect, sweet, innocent and lovable.

Life happened when he fell in love with the perfect girl. They were in high school. Their fathers were friends. That’s how they were introduced to each other. They knew, that very instant, that there was something special. Can
there be a more perfect way for the start of a love story? He loved her, she loved him. They understood each other. Obviously, he deserved to have someone who will love and understand him, just like he did. Things were perfect; the love which started as a crush and developed as they entered college. Life wouldn’t have been more perfect for him. But how can God let anyone be so happy? Well, he had other plans. Their perfect love story came to an end. She suffered, she cried, she died in his arms. His perfect girl passed away. That hospital room, that smell, her last words; every detail was carved permanently in his memory. He heard her utter his name as she breathed last. He died inside. He lost his happiness. He lost all hopes. All he had was his friends’ shoulders. He cried to bed, every night. The darkness heard him cry, his pillows saw his tears. All he ever wished was for her to come back.

He tried his best to start living his life. He tried his best to distract his mind. But it was futile. Finally, he gave into the darkness. One night, when everyone was asleep, he went to the terrace, climbed the wall, and stood there, ready to jump. But he couldn't. It isn't easy to kill yourself. He realized, he has to live with all the wounds, put a mask and keep smiling. That's life. And he became an expert in acting.

Then one day, there was a light in the darkness that surrounded him. He met a girl, his former classmate; happy, jovial, and full of life. They became friends. He always listened to her advice, never ever questioned her judgement, because he knew, she was always right. He wasn't close to his mom and dad anymore. He was detached from the world. And she knew. She knew about his past. When no one could make him smile, she made him laugh. She cared for him like his dad and loved him like his mom. She was the only one who could see the tears behind that mask, with which he was able to fool everyone around him. He had shut himself in, but with her, he poured himself out. She scolded him, just like his mom, but he never got angry. She became the outlet for all his feelings. She was the comfort he needed. She became his therapist. She became his secret-keeper. She became his best friend.
                                                                                                                                                                                            To be continued……..
