MOTHER’S DAY? What’s Mother Day? Oh, I think it falls in
May. I am not too sure about the date. Maybe it is 8th or 10th.
Anyway, we find it from someone and wish Mom then.
Now, think about it, would you even say anything like this if it was your best friend’s birthday or your anniversary or better the day you met your boyfriend/girlfriend. Obviously not. Our Life revolves around our friends. So no matter how busy we are, if our best friend want our company, we leave everything aside and make sure we are with him/her right there. But when we return home after a gruelling session of a never ending class or from an amazing movie, Thanks to our moms, snacks and refreshing beverages are waiting for us.

But when we return home after a gruelling session of a never ending class or from an amazing movie, Thanks to our moms, snacks and refreshing beverages are waiting for us.
But we do not acknowledge her
enormous efforts. We don’t even utter a simple ‘Thank You’. We rush to our
bedrooms grumbling "It was an tiring day, Mom. I need some rest." But surely we
are not tired to boot our computers and connect to the world through the social
sites.
Every time
we get call from our buddies, we are ready to go for a movie only to return
home late at night. Even then, Mom hopes that we have a nice time and prays for
us to return home safe and sound. And when we reach home late, she is wide
awake, waiting for our return and she makes sure Dad doesn't get to know that
we have returned late. But good old us, having no time to say Thanks and Good
Night. We go back to our rooms and gets glued to our computers or mobiles.
“Mom, you
wont’t understand”, we say this every time she tries to comfort us by asking us
to share our grief with her. But we don't realize that she was the only one
who understood every thing we tried to convey, when we were learning to speak.
Mom can be
your best friend and your biggest supporter. Talk, laugh, share and have fun
with her. At the end of the day give her a BIG HUG and say THANK YOU. She will
be the happiest woman on the Earth. Or should I say, ‘The Happiest mother on
Earth’.
