Fake Smiles

Every day, every moment,

During the day,

When the sun shines bright;

There is someone who smiles, to cover up their pain. 

They are sweet and strong and lovable, 

But they break, 

Every night, 

Tears keep flowing.

Keeping the shattered pieces of their heart, 

Safe, and sound, so that, 

Someday, 

Someone, 

Will come and help them fix it.

Oh My Love

❤     Oh, My First Love ❤

We were Friends and all was good,

I considered my life was food.

I sat there studying all day,

Sometimes write poems as I may.

I met you, my life had changed,

All loneliness of my life was slained.

I smiled every day, that’s for you,

I never felt this way, it was all just new.

You gave surprises, you made me happy,

I was giddy with happiness, just like a puppy.

You touched me, you kissed me,

You made me someone, whom I always wished to be.

I knew that day, those eyes never lied,

Where parting was the reason why your eyes cried.

Addiction got us, and we suffered a lot,

Yet we held each other close, and so bravely we fought.

We were each other’s strength, and we still are,

It doesn’t matter how close or how far.

We both were hurt, and suffering,

We didn’t know why this was happening.

Misunderstandings happened, we moved away,

But we realized soon, our hearts weren’t made that way.

We talked, we cried, we missed, we loved,

Because all our problems, we knew had to be solved.

It never was an option, to give up or suffer,

Because we knew we wanted to be Together Forever.

I hugged you, you hugged me back, and we couldn’t stop crying,

And we looked into each other’s eyes, knew they weren’t lying.

All we needed was to be in each other’s arms,

We knew we didn’t need any of those charms.

We wanted to smile every morning and night,

To sleep peacefully holding each other tight.

If I am your moon, you are my sunshine,

Because all I know is, I am yours, and You are mine.

The Glowing Moon

She wished to be there, high up in the sky

Among millions of stars, that one glowing moon!

But she stopped and thought, Cuz her heart was dry, 

Was it too big to wish for too soon?

Her heart skipped a beat, Cuz the answer was no...

She had to prepare, for the storm accompanied the snow.

Her heart was calm and her eyes on fire,

She knew she had to fulfill her heart's desire.

Off she went, raging across the sea,

She had to find her destiny

Cutting through the howling winds and showers,

Cuz she wasn't meant to be adorned with the flowers.

People mocked, people hurt her pride

She is a girl, they said, and she must be a bride!

People looked at her and said, “Oh, she is not strong”,

But she smiled and replied, “I am here to prove you wrong!”

She was a warrior, she knew, not a princess,

Armor of determination, mind never a mess.

Her sword was her will, her hands not shivering,

She brawled, she thrived, focus not quivering.

At last, she won her battle, the little girl overjoyed

The world was in awe, she was a complete wonder.

She won, like a real hero, her haters annoyed

She ruled the sky, glowing more than any other.

RHYTHM OF HEARTBEATS

There is she went, pretty all over

Rivals were all over, she knew,

All eyes of girls turned to jealousy

But Oh, Darling did she know?

In the crowd, was He, standing,

Staring, at her eyes, frozen to a place

She turned, and suddenly he came into view,

She froze too, everything else disappeared,

The world had seemed to have stopped 

To the rhythm of their heartbeats!
