Friendship

Amazing Little Girl is back. This time she wants to talk about friendship. So what does the word "FRIENDSHIP" mean to us?

I thought friendship meant supporting each other no matter what. Does it also mean you need to share everything about your lives, right? Sometimes, we forget what actually the meaning of this relationship. Nowadays, only if you share everything about your life, people count you as friends. Else, they say, you have grown distant.

Maybe, I don't feel like sharing, maybe I feel insecure, about sharing my personal stuff with others. What if I am introvert?

But as a friend, don't you think you should understand?

People tag someone as their best friend or soulmate and make fun of them or bitch about them behind their backs. All these things make us introvert, forces us into isolation. We start feeling that it's better to be your own Best Friend.
Then, where is friendship?
Every person has boundaries. Every person has a right to decide what he or she wants to share.
Is this what friendship is all about?

Right now, I am still searching for an answer.
Lucky are those guys who move in gangs, have amazing roommates, have best friends to talk to.

Oh yes, since I write a post regarding this, it isn't to say I am sad or I don't have friends. Instead, this is simply to ask everyone out there, WHAT IS FRIENDSHIP?

Can't a friend be selfless? Can't they just be there when we need them? Or like coming home with a perk and asking how we have been lately, even though we haven't talked in a while?
Do friendships like this still exist?

Friendship can never be measured by the number of minutes you speak, or how many selfies you clicked, neither by the amount of personal information you have shared. Friendship is in memories, in all the laughter and tears that comprise the story. Though it's true, people might change, but pictures and memories won't, we can always hope we don't change!
